Description
McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for a Department Manager for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.
Responsibilities include: Responsible for the coordination and management of specific clinical area(s). The management goal is to assure that departments are structured and operating to provide quality patient care in a cost effective manner. Management and other duties include patient care and patient relations, staff supervision, physician support, operations and systems monitoring, development and monitoring of budget, patient education planning and department projects and planning in accordance with Core Values and Promise. Education:
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
Certification/License:
Current LPN or RN license.
Current Basic Life Support certification for Health Care Providers.
Mandatory Reporting of Dependent Adult and Child Abuse.
Days: Monday - Friday.
Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with occasional nights and Saturday mornings
Experience
Previous hospital or clinic experience - requirements related to specialty area preferred.
Previous management experience preferred.
