Description
Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Machine Operators for projects located in Cedar Rapids, IA . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is up to $20/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:
Working with Copper materials
Operating a splitter pack or tandem machine
Casting machine operation
Place metal spools into a machine and calculate the width of the metal
Set up machine and cut the metal to size
Work with forklift to load materials into machines
Melt metal into 20x 5 bars
Use overhead crane to lift bars out of furnace
Palletize spools and wrap them on conveyor packaging machine
Requirements
Must have 2 year of heavy manufacturing experience
Must have 1 year of forklift experience; certification not needed
Must have all proper PPE
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
