Aerotek Welder in Cedar Rapids, Iowa

HIRING INDUSTRIAL WELDERS! 1st or 2nd shift!

Job Duties:

  • Perform MIG welding using .045 wire on both carbon and stainless steel materials.

  • Interpret and work from basic blueprints to ensure accurate assembly.

  • Assemble various parts with precision and attention to detail.

  • Utilize a tape measure for accurate measurements and alignment.

  • Operate overhead cranes and forklifts as required for material handling.

  • Potentially operate a break or drill press upon completion of welding tasks.

Requirements:

  • 1+ year of welding experience

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints

  • Basic math skills, ability to read micrometers
