Key Responsibilities:
Assist Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse in gathering medical history information and
taking vital signs.
Documents patient information for medical record including vital signs, height, and weight.
Assist Physicians and nursing staff members with procedures when necessary.
Transport patients safely using appropriate equipment.
Assist with stocking and cleaning clinic equipment and supplies.
Follow emergency procedures including CPR when necessary.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Successful completion of state-approved certified nursing assistant training program required.
Current/valid state issued Certified Nurse Assistant certification required.
Basic Life Support (BLS) Acceptable credentialing bodies and certifications include American
Heart Association Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers or Advanced Care Life Support
(ACLS) required.
