Job Title: Lab Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Lab Technician to perform multiple process checks throughout the production, packaging, and warehousing functions. In this role, you will test finished products and components to ensure they meet specified parameters. You will set up and calibrate HPLC and GC testing equipment, document batch testing results, and report quality findings to supervisors and managers. Additionally, you will provide independent oversight of lab processes to verify compliance with company standards and policies.

Qualifications:

Bachelors in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Des Moines, Iowa.

Work Environment

You will work in a manufacturing/plant environment with frequent operations in and out of the lab. You must be comfortable working near moving mechanical parts and be exposed to wet, humid conditions, fumes/toxic chemicals, airborne particles, and outdoor weather. Physical requirements include standing for long periods, handling objects/tools, and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
