Job Title: Production Line Packager

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Production Line Packager to join our team. This role involves bending repeatedly to stack and un-stack dirty totes, stacking totes on pallets, shrink wrapping pallets, and lifting 5-10 pounds repeatedly. You will also be responsible for cleaning containers and processing broken or scrap containers.

Responsibilities

  • Bend repeatedly to stack and un-stack dirty totes.

  • Stack totes on pallets.

  • Shrink wrap pallets.

  • Lift 5-10 pounds repeatedly.

  • Clean containers and process broken or scrap containers.

  • Assist with general warehouse duties including sweeping, stacking, cleaning, and organizing.

Essential Skills

  • 1+ years of warehouse experience.

  • Ability to lift 20 pounds.

  • Ability to read and speak English.

  • Reliable transportation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience in packaging, production, general production, warehouse, assembly, packing, cleaning, palletizing, general labor.

Work Environment

The work environment is a new and clean warehouse facility. The first shift operates from Monday to Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, with occasional work on Saturdays (two Saturdays a month on a rotational basis). The first shift team consists of 10 people. Steel-toed boots are required, and all other PPE, including vests, safety glasses, and gloves, will be provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Des Moines, Iowa.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00
