Job Title: Mechanical Design EngineerJob Description
We are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to assist in the design and development of both legacy and new products. The role will be evenly split between design work and collaborating with cross-functional groups on the production floor. This position involves real-time problem solving, root cause analysis, and implementing new designs or process conditions.
Responsibilities
Assist in the design and development of legacy and new products.
Collaborate with cross-functional groups on the production floor.
Conduct real-time problem solving and root cause analysis on the production line.
Implement new designs or process conditions based on analysis.
Utilize Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks for product development.
Perform FEA and GD&T to analyze the feasibility of projects.
Create project proposals using Microsoft suite.
Essential Skills
Proficiency in Autodesk Inventor or Solidworks.
Experience with FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in design and analysis of designs.
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Industrial Engineering, etc.).
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with fenestration, windows, doors, cabinetry, or design and analysis of wood.
Experience working on smaller plant projects.
Knowledge of door and window casements and design.
Work Environment

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $60.00/hr.
