Seeking a Supply Chain Manager in the Quad Cities!!
Description:
Supply Chain Strategy:
o Develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
o Analyze and optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
Vendor Management:
o Create and maintain a supplier evaluation process that sets strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality materials and timely deliveries.
o Review and counsel on negotiation of contracts and terms with suppliers to secure favorable pricing and conditions.
o Conduct assessments on market trends for materials and industry to stay competitive and have balanced supply base.
Inventory Management:
o Establish inventory KPIs that drive behaviors in monitoring inventory levels to ensure adequate supply while minimizing excess stock.
o Implement inventory control systems and practices to optimize organization, FIFO, indirect costs, and stock levels.
o Create plans to establish and maintain world class inventory.
Logistics Coordination:
o Oversee transportation and logistics operations to include shipping and receiving teams ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials and products.
o Set process methods to help reduce material touches with improved processing efficiency.
Demand Forecasting:
o Collaborate with sales and production teams to develop accurate demand forecasts and capacity views.
o Analyze market trends and historical data to anticipate supply needs.
Compliance and Risk Management:
o Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards related to firearms manufacturing and supply chain operations.
o Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain, including sourcing disruptions or quality issues.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
o Work closely with production, quality assurance, and finance teams to ensure seamless operations.
o Participate in cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Performance Metrics:
o Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure supply chain performance and effectiveness.
o Prepare reports and presentations for executive management on supply chain metrics and improvement initiatives.
o Communicate, set expectations, and hold accountability for departmental personnel on performance metrics to facilitate positive engagement and results.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Must have: a lot of experience, understand supply chain/purchasing - processes of that, vendor relationship, oversee planning of production, understand how production works and CNC machines
Required: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field
Preferred: Certification in Supply Chain Management
Prior leadership role preferred in a Warehouse or Manufacturing environment.
Required: At least 5 years in a position that included material and inventory control, supply chain, or operations in an industrial setting.
