ChildServe is hiring an Operations Supervisor to support the daily operations of our Inpatient Program and Medical Group Home. This role ensures smooth and efficient processes by managing equipment and inventory, coordinating vendor services, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. The Operations Supervisor collaborates with the Operations Manager/Administrator and clinical leaders to maintain a high-quality, mission-driven environment. Essential Position Expectations
Operations Management : Oversee daily operational tasks, including supply ordering, vendor coordination, IT systems, and equipment management. Support scheduling software and electronic health records, ensure timely procurement and maintenance of biomedical equipment, and manage vendor relationships and service agreements.
Compliance & Safety : Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulations, such as HIPAA and accreditation standards. Maintain safety plans and emergency protocols while addressing compliance issues or safety hazards.
Critical Task Management : Manage inventory and supply procurement, coordinate office functions, address operational challenges, and assist in preparations for inspections and quality reviews.
Leadership : Supervise, train, and develop staff, focusing on performance management and retention. Foster team engagement and collaborate with management on improvement opportunities.
Schedule
Typical business hours with infrequent evenings/weekends to support service needs
Benefits
This role is full-time and eligible for health benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, paid time-off, and a 403b retirement account. PTO starts accruing immediately with 40 hours front-loaded at hire!
What You’ll Need
Required: Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business, or a related field
Preferred: Master’s degree in healthcare or business-related field
Preferred: 3 years of administrative or operational support experience in a healthcare setting
Obtain Nursing Home Administrator License LNHA within 1 year of employment
Maintain positive working relationships and demonstrate sensitivity to, and respect for, a diverse population.
Ability to work effectively, accurately, and efficiently under multiple demands and frequent interruptions.
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with others, both verbally and in writing, and foster effective relationships with co-workers, children, and families.
Must exercise confidentiality regarding the affairs of clients, staff, their families, and ChildServe business.
Work with and safely dispose of hazardous materials including items with potential blood borne pathogens and cleaning supplies/chemicals.
Maneuver within the physical work environment with some bending, stooping, reaching and light lifting.
Ability to communicate effectively in reading, writing, and speaking the English language.
