Job Title: Warehouse Operator

Job Description

We are a full-service distributor of bulk food ingredients, and we are looking for a dedicated Forklift Operator. The role involves operating a sit-down forklift, handling various warehouse duties, and ensuring the accurate distribution of bulk ingredients. This is a fast-paced environment where safety and efficiency are paramount.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a sit-down forklift.

  • Read the computer and use a scan gun when pulling product.

  • Lift up to 80 lbs.

  • Accurately record data and information.

  • Case picking and unloading product.

  • Read labels and understand product compatibility to avoid cross-contamination.

  • Ensure adherence to food safety guidelines.

Essential Skills

  • 1+ year of forklift experience.

  • Ability to lift up to 80 lbs.

  • High School Diploma or GED.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Familiarity with food safety guidelines.

  • Allergen awareness and understanding of cross-contamination.

Work Environment

This is a very fast-paced environment where candidates must be prepared to work hard and hustle. The warehouse is colder in the winter and warmer in the summer. We have a great culture where feedback is immediate and safety is emphasized. Shifts are available from Wednesday to Saturday, 7 AM to 5:30 PM, or Sunday to Tuesday, 6 AM to 6:30 PM, and Friday, 5 AM to 9 AM. Overtime is available but not mandatory. Dress code includes shorts or pants, sleeved shirts (no profanity), and steel-toed shoes.

The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50
