Job Description
HHS, Community Access and Eligibility, is seeking a qualified, highly motivated individual to fill the position ofIncome Maintenance Supervisorwhich is responsible for the following:
Hiring and assisting in the training of new income maintenance workers,
Completing performance evaluations for staff,
Auditing the work of staff monthly,
Ensuring that food assistance benefits for families are accurate and timely each month,
Responding to customer concerns and complaints generated from families,
Scheduling leave, coverage, and overtime,
Conducting investigations for employee misconduct,
Coaching, counseling, and developing corrective action plans for underachievers,
Community outreach efforts,
Participating in local and statewide work groups and projects,
Providing policy clarifications and training daily so that workers produce quality work,
Being proficient in the use of “TEAMS” and/or other virtual meeting platforms, and,
Able to manage staff that are working from home remotely.
The ideal candidate will have the ability to plan, direct, organize, and make decisions regarding the operations of assigned responsibility as well as communicate effectively in person, in writing, and via phone. The candidate will know and understand income maintenance program and policy. If you are proficient in any languages in addition to English, please note in the application. The candidate should have computer skills and the ability to travel.
There will be some opportunity for home based/virtual work once the candidate is sufficiently trained. An office presence would still be required for a portion of the work time.

Minimum Qualification Requirements
Applicants must meet at least one of the following minimum requirements to qualify for positions in this job classification:
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or universityandone year of full-time work experience in an income maintenance program.
Two years (equivalent to 60 credit hours) of post high school course work from an accredited college or university and three years of full-time work experience in an income maintenance program.
Five years of full-time work experience in an income maintenance program.
