Did you start your career as a corporate accountant or financial analyst and transition into Project Management work? Do you enjoy technical accounting conversations, enjoy number crunching, and spearheading projects? This Financial Planning and Analysis Project Manager opportunity is centered around supporting the Global Corporate Controllers Division with 2 of their highly visible projects. You will be interacting with multiple stakeholders around the globe as well as with Divisional Corporate Controllers. The projects have taken flight and will need an experienced Project Manager to step in and continue to drive the deliverables to successful execution! Your Manager has worked closely with the projects and will get you acclimated with the players so that you can take over and utilize your Project Management experience successfully. You will be onsite 3 days a week to collaborate with your Sr. Leader and 2 peers. This is set up as a 6-month consulting role currently. As with any project, things may unfold that bode into a longer project need.

salary: $60 - $65 per hour

Responsibilities

  • Join the PMO specifically to support the Global Corporate Controllers Teams

  • Utilize your corporate accounting/finance knowledge and experience along with your project management experience to support two highly visible global transformation projects

  • Manage complex, multi-year project plans from end-to-end

  • Ensure business outcomes, timelines, and budgetary parameters are all met with satisfaction by the stakeholders

  • Develop detailed, high-quality project plans and ensure "buy-in" and trust from the stakeholders

  • Identify the needed scope, resources, timelines, costs, assumptions, etc for global projects

  • Thoughtfully plan through every change of the project plans and the ramifications before rolling them out

  • Own and execute highly visible fiduciary projects

  • Cleans and manipulate large amounts of data

  • Prepare steering committee reports every 4-6 weeks for the Divisional Controllers by utilizing your advanced PowerPoint skills

  • Attend meetings with your leadership, executives, and stakeholders

  • Spearhead, initiate, and attend monthly global calls with Finance and Accounting Directors

  • Lean on your peers and your senior manager for support

Skills

  • Financial Planning (3 years of experience is required)

  • Analysis (3 years of experience is required)

  • GAAP (3 years of experience is required)

  • Financial Reporting (3 years of experience is required)

  • Accounting or Finance Degree (4 years of experience is preferred)

  • PMP (2 years of experience is preferred)

  • Powerpoint (5 years of experience is required)

  • Excel (5 years of experience is required)

  • Microsoft Project (4 years of experience is preferred)

  • Leading Projects Exp (2 years of experience is required)

  • Stakeholder Interaction (2 years of experience is required)

  • Preparing Management Reports

  • Data Manipulation (2 years of experience is required)
